About The Position

Corning Credit Union (CCU) is seeking a Branch Supervisor to join our Horry County, SC team. This role is primarily responsible for leading and optimizing branch operations to drive growth, deliver exceptional member service, and ensure consistent financial performance. The Branch Supervisor provides day-to-day leadership, develops a high-performing team, and fosters strong member and community relationships.

  • Possesses solid computer skills and is experienced with various Microsoft programs.
  • The ability to read and comprehend moderate to advanced instructions and correspondence.
  • The ability to write moderate to advanced correspondence within professional etiquette standards.
  • The ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
  • 3+ years of prior management experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or another related field is preferred.
  • Commensurate work experience is also considered.
  • Prior lending and/or business development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages day-to-day operations and drives growth strategies across the Horry County branches, ensuring consistent financial results and long-term success.
  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with new and existing members.
  • Maintains hands-on working knowledge of deposit services and consumer lending to support high-quality service experiences and operational efficiency.
  • Provides support within the operations, as needed, while also holding team members accountable for performance and sound decision-making.
  • Leads with a servant-leadership approach by developing staff and strengthening the team’s professionalism, competence, and technical knowledge.
  • Creates a working environment that is conducive to two-way communication, teamwork, and learning.
  • Recognizes the varying strengths, skills, and needs of the team and adapts coaching skills to obtain the best possible results from each individual within the branch.
  • Utilizes open communication and managerial courage to ensure that the standards, expectations, and goals of the organization are respected and upheld.
  • Creates and maintains a strong sales and service culture and holds the team accountable for reaching branch goals.
  • Leads and participates in community outreach efforts, including local events and organizations, to strengthen the branch’s presence and positive reputation.
  • Collaborates with the Business Development Manager and Marketing team to support strategic initiatives that drive membership growth, lead generation, and new business opportunities.
  • Stays informed on local competitor activities and market trends and consistently communicates key insights to ensure we remain competitive and responsive to the evolving needs of our members.
  • Ensures compliance with federal and state rules, regulations, and laws, as they pertain to branch activities and compliance with applicable NCUA rules and regulations.
  • Takes ownership of personal development by proactively seeking opportunities for coaching, training, and networking to ensure continued growth and success in the role.
  • Also assumes responsibility for other projects or duties as required or assigned.
