Branch Service Specialist - West
About The Position
At American Savings Bank, our tellers are key in helping to make dreams possible for customers across the state. When you apply, you'll work with our team to find a branch that's the best fit for you and for ASB within the West and Central Regions of Oahu. As a valued member of our team, you will support customers with their important bank transactions. You’ll also get to know them by being curious and asking questions about their financial needs and goals so you can suggest the right ASB products and services to improve their financial well-being.
Requirements
- Proven ability to connect with customers and build trusting relationships.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve, be resourceful and work effectively under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Provide account services to customers, such as processing deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Record night and mail deposits.
- Identify customer needs, answer inquiries, and resolve issues.
- Explain and promote features and benefits of bank products and services.
- Contribute to meeting branch goals by referring customers to business partners as appropriate.
- Comply with applicable banking laws and regulations including Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering.
- Provide personalized, in-person education in digital banking solutions.
