About The Position

The Branch Sales Associate provides customer service and sales support at the Elmsford, NY branch. The role guides customers to solutions, identifies opportunities to grow sales, and manages customer transactions from product selection and order entry through picking and vehicle loading. It also supports order preparation, inventory organization, merchandising, showroom replenishment, and branch housekeeping while following safety guidelines and process standards. This is a six-month, W-2 position paying $24.50 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with flexible hours between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Requirements

Flexibility to work within branch hours of operation.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.
Capability to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide high-level customer service through multiple service channels, as defined by the Company Service Promise.
Guide customers to solutions that help them accomplish their tasks.
Identify leads for further selling opportunities during customer interactions and drive sales growth.
Manage the customer experience, including product selection, order entry, product picking, and vehicle loading.
Maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty.
Adapt communication style for different audiences through email, phone, or in-person interactions.
Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders and shipping products.
Prepare customer backorders and organize stock received.
Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
Perform inventory counts and housekeeping tasks to maintain branch appearance.
Learn and use computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities.
Comply with safety guidelines and process standards, including wearing personal protective equipment.
