In conjunction with the Branch Manager, the Branch Operations Manager is responsible for the operations of the branch and achieving sales and service goals. The Branch Operations Manager will assume all Branch Manager responsibilities in the absence of the Branch Manager. This role involves coaching team members on customer service, leading by example to create a positive branch environment, and ensuring adherence to quality service standards. The position is accountable for customer retention, accurate and efficient transaction processing, and resolving customer service issues. The Branch Operations Manager also plays a key role in maintaining branch appearance and facilities, ensuring operational excellence, and complying with all relevant regulations and policies. Additionally, this role contributes to finance management by achieving branch profitability goals and implementing strategies for revenue and efficiency improvement. In sales, the Branch Operations Manager assists in tracking and strategizing to accomplish goals, coaching team members on the sales and service process, and demonstrating a sense of urgency in achieving branch targets. The role also involves maintaining product knowledge and promoting cross-selling efforts. In human resources, the Branch Operations Manager is responsible for developing and retaining high-performing team members through coaching, feedback, and motivation, managing HR processes for direct reports, and participating in the interviewing process for new staff.
