Requirements

High school diploma required.
Professional, friendly demeanor.
Ability to work regularly in a fast-paced, retail setting.
Solid computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
Reliable; solid work ethic; team-oriented.
Physically capable of regularly lifting, unassisted, 50 lbs.
Pass pre-employment background check, drug screening, and other pre-employment steps.
Strong commitment to safety, consistent with company policy.

Nice To Haves

Some college or earned degree helpful.
Seek an entry-level position that blends regular physical work during the day, including at job sites, with work inside a showroom setting.
Desire to work M-F from 8-5 with occasional overtime particularly ahead of and during our peak winter demand time of year.

Responsibilities

Act as a primary, first line of contact for customers.
Answer phones.
Perform administrative tasks using a computer.
Perform regular mechanical work using hand tools.
Promote and sell Blossman's core line of appliances and services.
Load and unload propane tanks for customers.
Fill propane tanks safely.
Work in the tank warehouse area.
Work with Service Technicians on job sites.
Ensure success in the position through friendly demeanor and solid organizational skills.
