About The Position

Miller Environmental Group (MEG) is seeking a Branch Manager to lead all aspects of branch operations, drive performance, and support continued growth. This role is responsible for overseeing staff, managing financial performance, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance. The Branch Manager plays a critical leadership role in developing employees, managing budgets and P&L, ensuring equipment and operational readiness, and directing emergency response activities. This role also partners closely with Business Development to strengthen client relationships, secure new work, and expand market presence. Depending on the branch structure, the Branch Manager may also oversee TSDF operations. Be part of a fast-paced organization that supports environmental emergency response and remediation efforts. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Five or more years of progressive experience in operations leadership, project management, or related field within environmental services, remediation, waste management, or industrial services
  • Strong knowledge of DOT, RCRA, EPA, OSHA, and related regulations
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Availability for varied hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation
  • Successful completion of a post-offer drug screen, background check, and DOT physical in accordance with applicable law

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, coach, and manage the performance of all branch staff
  • Oversee daily operations, including labor and equipment utilization, expenses, and overall performance
  • Plan and allocate labor, equipment, and resources to support current work and future growth
  • Manage and maintain accountability for branch budgets, financial performance, and P&L results
  • Partner with Business Development on sales initiatives, proposals, client meetings, and market growth opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships; resolve service, operational, or quality concerns
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA, RCRA, and all applicable health and safety regulations
  • Oversee fleet, facility, inventory, and equipment readiness
  • Review job reports and ensure accuracy of billing, proposals, quotes, and documentation
  • Direct emergency response activities, including planning, mobilization, and coordination
  • Communicate performance, risks, and operational needs to senior leadership
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and lead emergency response efforts as required
