Branch Manager, The CAT Rental Store
About The Position
In this position, you will provide daily leadership and direction to our Rental Operations Team at new Bellingham , WA facility. You will be developing and maintaining a customer orientated organization that produces good value in terms of rental services. In this position, you will manage the operations of the rental business to achieve the best possible return on investment for the ownership and be responsible for overall branch operations including P&L, managing expenses, as well as achieving budget targets. You will manage the utilization and maintenance of all company operational assets and property to ensure they are protected and kept in good working condition. You will manage employee training, safety, advancement, and compensation to assure top productivity and good moral and fairness. Excellent customer service skills are required and you will be promoting product to customers in their assigned territory, call on customers with reps and supervise rental branch personnel which include rental coordinators, rental techs, and rental drivers. Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and following the company Safety Policy.
Requirements
- 5 years of industry experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
- Able to work in a stressful/busy environment.
- Can handle multi-tasks on a regular basis.
- Must be able to travel as needed.
Nice To Haves
- 2-3 years of progressive management experience.
