This role will maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations including inside sales, lead and develop the operations team to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse, delivery, and customer service processes are running smoothly and promptly to provide impeccable customer service to our customers. Requirements

  • Five to six years related managerial experience and training required.
  • Excellent working knowledge of order processing systems, inventory control systems, and Microsoft products Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to solve problems.
  • Lead by example, and coach a team to achieve excellent customer service with customers and vendor.
  • Strong ability to adapt to change and work cohesively with all departments to meet corporate goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Some managerial experience within the industry preferred.
  • Construction industry knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures in compliance with company’s policies and core values.
  • Responsible for inventory control, including cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and maintaining appropriate min/max levels in computer inventory system.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Accountable for cash drawer balance and reconciling the daily bank deposits.
  • Maintains physical condition of transportation fleet and PIT equipment by inspecting equipment and scheduling PM (preventive maintenance) ; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Achieves financial objectives by managing controllable expenses; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
