About The Position

Emancipet is hiring a Branch Manager for our Norwood Park Clinic! Emancipet is a leading nonprofit veterinary care provider in the United States, on a mission to make veterinary care affordable and accessible for everyone. We operate an expanding network of high-quality, low-cost veterinary clinics, hire and develop veterinary professionals from the communities we serve, and advocate for strategies and public policies that improve the lives of pets and the people who love them. Our Norwood Park Clinic provides affordable, high-quality veterinary care to pets and families throughout the North and Central Austin community. We’re looking for a Branch Manager who can lead day-to-day clinic operations while creating a supportive, engaging environment for both our team and our clients. The Branch Manager is responsible for ensuring spay/neuter and healthy pet services operate safely, efficiently, and in alignment with Emancipet’s medical standards and standard operating procedures. This person leads and develops a team of veterinary technicians and customer service professionals, ensuring employees have the training, tools, and support they need to do their best work. Compassionate service is at the heart of what we do. The Branch Manager plays a critical role in creating an environment where every client is treated with dignity and respect and every team member understands how their work connects to Emancipet’s mission. Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of successful leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare, nonprofit, veterinary, and/or customer service environment
  • Strong people leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift
  • Ability to learn and quickly become proficient in new software applications
  • Veterinary technician experience or the ability to quickly learn the technical skills necessary to effectively lead clinic operations
  • A genuine connection to Emancipet’s mission and a commitment to compassionate service
