About The Position

American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of A/C and heating equipment, accessories and supplies and has been serving our customers for 85 years. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Branch Manager to join our team at our Kino Branch. This position is full-time (typically 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m). The Branch Manager will manage, motivate, and mentor a variety of personnel involved in the service of HVAC Customers which may include: Counter Sales Position(s), Warehouse/Delivery, and in larger branches Receiving/Transfer clerks, Counter trainee, Sales. Flexibility and willingness to “wear many hats” is required. The Branch Manager will need the ability to actively support performing site evaluations, assisting in project scheduling, supporting sales/quotes, performing warehousing functions, and completing HR functions. They will manage the performance of direct reports, including work allocation, performance management, working with HR Manager to implement training, coaching, succession planning, career development and compensation. The role fosters a culture of clear, direct communication within the branch so that expectations and responsibilities are understood, and employee engagement is maximized. The Branch Manager will monitor Branch Sales and find innovative ways to increase sales production. They will oversee and maintain customer service levels, including customer inquiries and resolution of customer issues, working to ensure that we are delivering an excellent customer experience and escalate customer concerns as necessary. The Branch Manager will work closely with the Regional Manager to understand branch performance and KPI (Key Performance Indicators) targets such as: REPORTING, DAILY TRANSFERS, RECEIVING PO’S TIMELY, WEEKLY CYCLE COUNTS, DAILY BANK DEPOSITS, PROKEEP MGMT, ETC. They will ensure the branch team receives the proper safety training and equipment. The role involves evaluating and managing the resources/processes required for the successful completion of a high volume of commercial HVAC projects. The Branch Manager will work closely with the sales team to understand sales performance and forecasts, and drive continuous improvement in all aspects of branch operations, managing sales performance, customer focus, on-site facilities, vehicle fleet etc. Other Duties as assigned by Regional Manager.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma is required
  • A minimum of 3-5 years HVAC distribution or relevant HVAC experience
  • 2 plus years management or counter sales experience required
  • Employee must pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to communicate well with others
  • Ability to manage others
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Highly Organized, possesses good planning skills
  • Team Player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer knowledge including MS Office applications
  • Basic typing/10-key skills
