About The Position

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall health and success of their office. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations, managing staff, and driving office production. The Branch Manager will also be responsible for administrative tasks, financial oversight, and maintaining a positive team environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of administrative experience managing a retail sales team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Ability to schedule meetings, organize branch training, make travel arrangements, complete expense reports, audits, and special projects.
  • Ability to conduct sales training for new agents and retail employees.
  • Ability to effectively interface with high-level company executives and clients.
  • Working knowledge of basic HR policy and procedures regarding employees and labor regulations.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work with others as a team.
  • Advanced computer and technical proficiency including, but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel: PowerPoint and Adobe.
  • Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful, and flexible.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions and change course of action quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Audit all files weekly regarding underwriting, regulatory compliance, and premium negotiation.
  • Ensure office meets Company Standards regarding state regulations, company policy and procedures, appearance/staff and facilities, audits/inventory/applicable rates/deposits/company compliance.
  • Provide twenty-four (24) hour support to agents for bond approvals, underwriting, and policy and procedure.
  • Review new files within twenty-four (24) hours and conduct weekly reviews of all new forfeitures.
  • Work with CSI and Claims department by forwarding files as requested and providing updates.
  • Maintain daily knowledge of office production (bond count, liability, premium deposited), set goals, monitor progress, and make necessary changes.
  • Ensure all leads are documented properly with the BMA system, review leads daily, work with agents to maximize lead potential, and maintain daily/weekly reconciliation of leads.
  • Participate in recruitment of new branch employees following HR policy.
  • Work with RM and HR to address, resolve, and document employee issues and/or conflicts.
  • Schedule all shift coverage to ensure fairness, equity, and efficient coverage.
  • Coordinate and facilitate weekly staff meetings.
  • Promote and create a team environment, working with RM, VP, or Corp for incentives and rewards.
  • Review and audit office administration activities daily, including daily deposits, bond inventory control, petty cash control, court calls, commission/exception reports, corporate requests, policy and procedural manuals, branch vehicle maintenance, monitoring bonds for negligence/fraud/compliance/data integrity, and reviewing EZ Labor entries.
  • Ensure office surroundings are compliant with company standards, including cleanliness, office supplies, bail forms, and maintenance/improvements.
  • Complete and submit monthly audit reports within 10 business days of the last day of the month.
  • Provide consistent leadership daily.
