About The Position

The Branch Manager serves as the senior leadership representative of the assigned location while acting as a role model in promotion of Credit Union products, services, and solutions to members within the branch and through targeted outreach within the local community. Duties and Responsibilities include: Motivates, coaches, and develops branch staff to provide outstanding service and advocacy to members, while consistently identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and strengthen member loyalty. Develops and delivers annual evaluations for branch staff. Maintains expert-level understanding of all aspects of branch workflow, including loan application processing, new account originations, cash vault management, branch compliance, and other operational processes. Assists with performing these functions as necessary. Conducts daily huddles and monthly meetings with branch staff to recognize staff achievements, provide product education, and share meaningful business updates. Participates in external networking and promotional events with local schools, colleges, and other community business partners. Collaborates with Branch Services leadership to formulate new strategies to optimize branch business and expand membership. Supervises and makes recommendations on facility-related maintenance needs, including ATM, custodial, security, and other vendors as required. Serves as community liaison in representing the Credit Union at community functions and leadership forums. Creates annual branch business plan and presents periodic performance updates to Senior Leadership highlighting business trends and opportunities for competitive differentiation. Role models servant leadership at all time and inspires others to embrace the Credit Union mission of people helping people through personal conduct and performance. Serves as point of escalation for member issues/concerns within the branch. Coordinates resolution of member issues with other Credit Union departments. Demonstrates sound and appropriate judgment when making exceptions to policy/procedures for the benefit of the member. Ensures the branch is adequately staffed and that the branch schedule is reflective of traffic patterns resulting in an effective and efficient workflow which will provide an overall exceptional experience for all members. Responsible for hiring, advancement, mentoring and addressing disciplinary matters of staff. Recommends termination when necessary. Required to have the ability to travel throughout the branch network to provide staffing assistance at all branch locations when necessary. Ensures that the branch follow prescribed policy, operational, and security procedures in compliance with internal and external procedures, NCUA, and other regulations. Full compliance with BSA rules and regulations. Reviews OFAC matches within designated risk score and provides clearance to staff on false positive matches. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
