About The Position

Manage and supervise branch employees, responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership. Maintain and oversee all banking procedures and processes. Communicate and implement company-wide directives and changes to banking operations. Recruiting, vetting, interviewing, and hiring new employees. Provide training, coaching, development, and motivation for bank personnel. Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities. Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly. Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective business opportunities. Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company. Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations/applicable laws. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of banking experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience managing personnel required.
  • Leadership and human resources management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of banking and finance best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem solving skills, task organizational skills, and a high level of initiative.
  • Able to move up to 50 pounds and able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Good vision (correctable), hearing, and manual dexterity.
  • Able to work a flexible Monday through Friday schedule, occasional holidays and/or weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Established knowledge of the Bellville or Austin County market strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.
