About The Position

Direct the operations of a remote Credit Union facility, ensuring the branch meets organizational financial, operational, service, and growth plans.

Requirements

  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
  • A two-year college degree, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
  • Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Good judgment and problem solving skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • General PC skills in word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to handle and monitor multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors all branch activities to ensure they are in compliance with established Credit Union policies and procedures.
  • Underwrites consumer loans; reviews loan underwriting decisions of subordinate staff.
  • Monitors branch operating results relative to established objectives and ensures that appropriate steps are are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions.
  • Represents the Branch as appropriate in its relationships with members, sponsor organizations(s), suppliers, other financial institutions, and similar groups. Develops new sponsor organizations and business within the immediate community.
  • Maintains communications with main office; prepares and submits standard reports; attends scheduled management meetings.
  • Direct, develop, motivate, hire and coach employees through one-on-one conversations at least monthly; administer performance reviews and recommend appropriate personnel actions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Employees shall be trained annually, demonstrate an understanding of and follow the requirements of the BSA/AML Compliance Program as it specifically relates to their job.
