About The Position

Wintrust is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations while actively developing existing and new customer relationships. The Branch Manager will collaborate with other lines of business to maximize the growth and profitability of the banking center. This role involves managing sales performance, resolving escalated customer issues, and establishing the bank's presence in the local community through networking and outbound calling efforts.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Previous retail banking and managerial experience
• Previous business development experience
• Experience working with small business customers

• college degree or related banking experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations, including hiring, training, scheduling, and facility management
• Manage the sales performance of the banking center staff by conducting coaching sessions, overseeing staff development, and addressing employee performance issues as needed
• Resolve escalated customer matters
• Perform Personal Banker duties as necessary
• Establish and enhance the bank's presence in the local community by participating in networking events and initiating outbound calling efforts to drive branch sales
