About The Position

The Branch Manager is responsible for efficient management of a branch office, ensuring that established policies and procedures are followed and delegating the day-to-day operations to the Assistant Branch Manager or Head Teller in order to be available to make business calls and to represent the Bank at civic and service club functions. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with additional business-related training
  • Three to five years of progressively more responsible experience within a financial organization to gain the necessary experience and background knowledge to manage a full-service sales environment and deal effectively with employees and customer relations matters
  • A thorough knowledge of branch operations to coordinate the daily functioning of the branch and to resolve employee and customer problems
  • Complete familiarity with the Bank's checking, savings and lending policies and guidelines, as well as specific loan programs, qualifications and so on to provide full deposit and loan services
  • The interpersonal skills necessary to conduct business calls to area agencies and builders and cultivate relationships with potential deposit and loan customers
