About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring experienced, people-focused leaders for a Branch Manager career within its National Branch Network. The Branch Manager serves as the branch sales leader, responsible for acquiring, deepening, and retaining customer relationships and driving growth across primary checking, deposits, lending, credit cards, and investments through disciplined execution, coaching, and performance management. The role leads and develops a team, fosters an engaged and accountable culture, and balances business growth with operational risk management. New leaders participate in the Branch Manager Readiness Program, which provides guidance, mentorship, job shadowing, and practical experience in daily branch operations. Successful completion is required before transitioning into a Branch Manager position. Branch placement depends on business need and availability. During training, the position is an interim, nonexempt role. Current Wells Fargo Branch Managers are not required to complete the program. The position may be based at one of the listed Omaha-area branches. The schedule must include Saturdays, and travel within the assigned geography may be up to 50% during the first six months, before or until placement in a specific branch. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 5 years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
At least 2 years of leadership experience.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date.
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies, including standards concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background. A credit report may be reviewed, excluding the credit score, and additional ongoing screening may apply.

Responsibilities

Provide inclusive leadership, establish clear expectations, and manage performance through targeted coaching to achieve sales, service, and operational excellence.
Lead the branch team in identifying customer financial needs and providing tailored consumer and business solutions.
Use branch routines, observation, feedback, and follow-up to develop employee capability, confidence, and productivity, while holding the team accountable for behaviors and outcomes.
Partner with Wealth & Investment Management, Business Banking, and Home Lending to provide coordinated customer experiences and deepen relationships.
Help customers use digital banking options through education and demonstration.
Use reporting and employee observations to identify strengths and opportunities, improve team performance, and expand primary bank relationships and wallet share.
Balance growth, operational soundness, and talent decisions; manage risk, resolve issues, and model behaviors that protect customers, employees, and the company.
