About The Position

American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of A/C and heating equipment, accessories and supplies and has been serving our customers for 85 years. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Branch Manager to join our team at our Kino Branch. This position is full-time (typically 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m). The Branch Manager will manage, motivate, and mentor personnel involved in serving HVAC customers, which may include counter sales, warehouse/delivery, and in larger branches, receiving/transfer clerks, counter trainees, and sales staff. Flexibility and the ability to "wear many hats" are required. The Branch Manager will actively support site evaluations, assist in project scheduling, support sales/quotes, perform warehousing functions, and complete HR functions. They will manage the performance of direct reports, including work allocation, performance management, implementing training with the HR Manager, coaching, succession planning, career development, and compensation. The role fosters a culture of clear, direct communication within the branch to ensure expectations and responsibilities are understood and employee engagement is maximized. The Branch Manager will monitor branch sales and find innovative ways to increase sales production, oversee and maintain customer service levels, handle customer inquiries and resolve customer issues, ensuring an excellent customer experience and escalating concerns as necessary. They will work closely with the Regional Manager to understand branch performance and KPI targets such as reporting, daily transfers, receiving POs timely, weekly cycle counts, daily bank deposits, and PRO keep management. The Branch Manager will ensure the branch team receives proper safety training and equipment, evaluate and manage resources/processes for high-volume commercial HVAC projects, and work closely with the sales team to understand sales performance and forecasts. The role drives continuous improvement in all aspects of branch operations, including managing sales performance, customer focus, on-site facilities, and vehicle fleet. Other duties may be assigned by the Regional Manager.

Requirements

A minimum of a High School Diploma is required
A minimum of 3-5 years HVAC distribution or relevant HVAC experience
2 plus years management or counter sales experience required
Employee must pass pre-employment drug screen
Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
Must be able to communicate well with others
Ability to manage others
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Highly Organized, possesses good planning skills
Team Player with strong interpersonal skills
Strong computer knowledge including MS Office applications
Basic typing/10-key skills
