About The Position
Sun Loan Company is seeking a reliable and ambitious Branch Manager to lead branch operations, drive performance, and foster relationships with clients and team members to achieve business objectives. The role includes conducting performance evaluations, efficiently scheduling staff, and promoting the organization through community engagement. The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership, operational management, and strategic planning skills, works well under pressure, and maintains professionalism and commitment to the organization’s values. The Branch Manager oversees daily office operations, compliance, loan application decisions, financial performance, staff training and development, customer situations, and branch growth. Tax preparation may be part of the role depending on location. Some local travel for team meetings and overtime may be required. Saturday hours apply seasonally from November through March 2025, on a rotation based on business needs; Sundays are not worked.
Requirements
- Loan industry management experience is strongly preferred, or 2–3 years of prior management experience in similar customer service or collections-related industries.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid proof of insurance.
- Applicants must already be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations.
- Maintain compliance with policies and procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and take accountability for training and developing Loan Specialists.

- Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability.
- Establish performance goals.
- Handle adverse customer situations professionally while maintaining positive relationships and encouraging return business.
- Approve or reject loan applications, or coordinate their processing.
- Assist Loan Specialists with loan processing and collections calls.
- Perform tax preparation, which may vary by location.
- Plan and develop branch growth through networking with the local community and other businesses.
- Work closely with team members to achieve branch goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations and schedule staffing efficiently.
- Promote the organization through community engagement.
