About The Position

The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the inside sales, warehouse, and store operations at the branch location. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional customer service and operational performance while embodying Wilson’s core values of Love, Serve, Care.   • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial distribution.
  • 5+ years of experience with fluid power, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • 10+ year of leadership or management experience with a proven track record of team development and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and develop the inside sales and customer service teams to meet and exceed performance objectives while fostering a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Oversee and coordinate all daily operations, including inside sales, warehouse management, and store activities, ensuring alignment with Wilson’s values.
  • Create and maintain an engaged, motivated team culture that supports collaboration, accountability, and mutual support.
  • Model and promote behaviors that reflect the company's commitment to Love (respect and compassion), Serve (selflessness and reliability), and Care (commitment and excellence).
  • Monitor and achieve quarterly and annual KPIs, such as bookings, billings, service levels, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Serve as a key point of support for the field sales team and coordinate communication between inside and outside sales functions.
  • Identify and act on new opportunities for growth, both in sales and operational improvements.
  • Maintain the branch facility, inventory, and equipment to ensure safety, functionality, and protection of assets.
  • Conduct weekly meetings to reinforce team alignment, celebrate successes, and address challenges openly and constructively.
  • Lead the performance review process for all direct reports, providing meaningful feedback, setting measurable goals, and supporting career development.
  • Represent the company professionally with customers, vendors, and the community.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, company policies, and applicable regulations.
