About The Position

Johnstone Supply is seeking to hire an enthusiastic full-time Branch Manager to help maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and continued growth at our Sterling, VA branch location. This management position earns a competitive salary - base rate and includes monthly and yearly bonuses based on prior experience and current HVAC product knowledge. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Management experience in operations
Ability to learn and effectively use our point-of-sale computer system
Ability to pass a drug screen
Business acumen
Consistent customer service skills
Leadership skills

Nice To Haves

HVAC/R industry experience or training
General knowledge of wholesale distribution including branch operations, order fulfillment, inventory control, customer service, showroom merchandising, shipping & receiving, and sales
Ability to work efficiently and with a sense of urgency
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and delegate effectively
Enjoy coaching and mentoring others
Empathetic listener with exceptional problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Coordinating and overseeing all operations, including the hiring, training, and supervision of branch staff.
Inspiring counter sales, warehouse, and delivery staff to take pride in their work and provide above-and-beyond customer service.
Modeling prompt, professional service when answering incoming telephone calls and greeting walk-in customers.
Fostering teamwork, respect, cooperation, accountability, and trust.
Developing appropriate strategies to increase productivity and performance levels.
Achieving branch financial targets.
Resolving customer complaints and disputes effectively.
Accurately completing transactions and paperwork.
Developing effective sales programs and promotions for the branch in collaboration with outside sales personnel.
