About The Position

Liberty Fence & Supply, a full-service residential and commercial fencing contractor and supplier, is seeking a Branch Manager. The company has a history dating back to 1980 and specializes in custom fabrication with skilled craftsmen. They offer high-quality materials, products, and installation, backed by manufacturer warranties and their own installation guarantee. The Branch Manager will have overall authority to lead and direct branch operations, making decisions within sound management practices and business judgment. Positions reporting to the Branch Manager include Field Crews, Administration Manager, and Project Managers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 5 years’ related experience at an equivalent managerial position.
  • Mental, Physical, Sensory and Environmental requirements, refer to American Disability Act (ADA).

Nice To Haves

  • Fencing industry experience of similar tenure is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Branch Functions to meet company goals by planning, coordinating, scheduling, and controlling all Operational activities to meet or exceed budgeted delivery and installation schedules, revenues, gross margin, and income goals.
  • Monitor and control Operations productivity, material usage, and purchasing of supplies, providing data for reports required by the President.
  • Utilize sound budgeting practices to predict and control installation costs.
  • Ensure all Operations employees are properly directed, trained, motivated, and aware of the company’s mission.
  • Conduct formal performance reviews of direct reporting employees and ensure all Branch personnel are formally appraised.
  • Conduct regular functional organization meetings to review company goals, progress, and solve problems.
  • Ensure materials and personnel scheduling are accurate and timely to support installation commitments.
  • Coordinate purchasing and personnel for efficient operation and good customer service.
  • Assist in record keeping to monitor vehicles, equipment, and small tool usage and maintenance.
  • Ensure purchased materials are delivered and utilized as contracted.
  • Ensure installation costs are reported for job costing.
  • Ensure all equipment and small tools are secured to prevent damage and loss.
  • Ensure operational activities meet company and customer quality standards.
  • Maintain Liberty Fence & Supply as a safe and secure workplace by maintaining a Safety Program as required by law and industry practices.
  • Ensure safety programs are followed and all employees operate within sound safety standards.
  • Provide information, communication, and leadership to make the Management Team effective by offering technical information on new or improved production methods or equipment.
  • Train or arrange for back-up personnel to perform necessary tasks in the absence of the Branch Manager or other key individuals.
  • Ensure compliance of Branch staff with applicable Federal, State, City, and municipality laws and regulations.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the General Manager or President and keep them informed on significant financial and employment issues.
