About The Position

Branch Managers build the foundation of the Coldwell Banker network, the nation’s No. 1 residential real estate brokerage for 21 years. As Branch Manager, you will lead Coldwell Banker's Lake Oswego and Portland offices while serving as a key driver of strategic growth across the Oregon market. In addition to overseeing brokerage operations, agent productivity, recruiting, and revenue performance, you will identify and execute opportunities to expand market share, attract top-producing talent, strengthen community presence, and accelerate growth across the Portland metropolitan area. This role requires a leader who can balance operational excellence with a growth mindset, building the foundation for the next phase of Coldwell Banker's growth in Oregon. Branch managers are recognized for their leadership, both inside and outside the office. They establish a culture of growth among associates by living the Coldwell Banker Value Proposition – Production Power, Culture of Awesomeness, Wealth Building and Coaching to Confidence. They are the face of Coldwell Banker in the community, actively participating and leading local events, establishing a network of contacts to further grow the business. Oregon represents a strategic growth market for Coldwell Banker. The Branch Manager will act as a market builder, developing and executing a localized growth strategy for Portland and Lake Oswego that drives agent attraction, retention, productivity, and market penetration. Success will require strong partnership across the broader organizational ecosystem, leveraging relationships, market intelligence, and business development opportunities to expand the company's presence and influence throughout the region.

Requirements

  • Experienced in all aspects of residential real estate transactions with 3-5 years of sales experience.
  • Knowledge of real estate laws, contracts and procedures.
  • Hold active local real estate or broker’s license.
  • Demonstrated success driving business growth, recruiting top-performing agents, and expanding market presence within a competitive real estate environment.
  • Proven management success, including recruiting, training and encouraging incredible teams.
  • Self-motivated and ambitious, aware of current technology and willing to seek out and accept new and emerging technology to drive growth!
  • Contagious passion, a hard-working desire to grow your career while attracting and encouraging associates eager to do the same.
  • Influential communicator, with strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills!
  • Technology proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Office, internet and media sites.

  • Attract associates and lead teams to success by demonstrating a high energy level, creating a growing residential real estate office driven by a culture of awesomeness.
  • Articulate Coldwell Banker’s and the local office’s value proposition to attract and retain new and current agents.
  • Optimally run branch’s operations: hire, develop and reward top talent; establish and supervise office expenses and budgets; handle profit and loss to achieve annual profitability targets.
  • See the big picture and translate company strategy into local market growth.
  • Create an environment where agents can thrive by providing the tools, coaching, and support necessary for success.
  • Drive organic growth through recruiting, retention, productivity initiatives, business development efforts, and market expansion opportunities.
