About The Position

Omega Morgan is expanding in Texas and is looking for a Branch Manager to help establish and lead a new operation. This is a greenfield opportunity where the Branch Manager will bring Omega Morgan's proven culture, operating model, technical capability, and way of doing business into a new market. The role involves building the team, developing customer relationships, establishing strong operating rhythms, and creating a growing operation. The Branch Manager will have real responsibility for the future success of the new branch. Omega Morgan is an industrial-services company with over 1,000 employees across the U.S. and Canada, specializing in engineering, project management, specialized transportation, heavy lift, rigging, machinery moving, logistics, crane, and millwright services to solve complex industrial problems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of operations, project, or branch leadership experience in industrial services.
  • Direct experience in rigging, heavy haul, crane, machinery moving, logistics, or a closely related operating environment.
  • Experience managing P&L, budgets, forecasting, and operational performance.
  • Demonstrated safety leadership.
  • Experience leading field crews, supervisors, project managers, salespeople, or cross-functional operating teams.
  • Strong customer-development, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to make good decisions in a fast-moving operating environment.
  • Ability to travel within the market and work extended hours when operational needs require it.

Nice To Haves

  • You like building things—but you don’t need to reinvent everything just to make it yours.
  • You know that good leadership means being visible.
  • You’re comfortable moving between a jobsite, a customer conversation, a staffing decision, and a P&L review.
  • You get satisfaction from looking back at something substantial and knowing you helped make it happen.
  • Strong presence: visible, respected, and calm under pressure.
  • You can walk onto a difficult day at a jobsite, understand what’s happening, and help the team move forward.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing and leading the new Central Texas operation.
  • Branch performance across safety, operations, sales, people, and profitability.
  • Bringing Omega Morgan operating practices and culture successfully into a new market.
  • Building the local team and developing strong leadership and accountability.
  • P&L, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, resource allocation, and margin protection.
  • Customer relationships and business development throughout the market.
  • Project readiness, manpower planning, backlog review, and operational performance.
  • Coordination between sales, operations, field teams, and customers.
  • Creating a visible, practical safety culture built around proactive risk identification and follow-through.
  • Building an operation capable of sustainable long-term growth.
