About The Position

The Branch Manager is responsible for leading and driving new business, ensuring that we provide an excellent and consistent member experience, while maintaining sound branch operations. This highly motivated, passionate, self-starter leads through example, demonstrating an owner mentality with achieving strong results on the branch objectives and goals. This position is a designated Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO), and as such, requires full compliance with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing (SAFE) Act. Leadership: You build trust and demonstrate integrity with noticeable congruence between words and actions. Judgement: You make exact decisions about business policies, managing risks and ensuring operations are conducted in accordance with internal policies, procedures, and legal/regulatory requirements. The core responsibility is the effective and efficient management of our Oak Forest branch. This is a highly visible position where success will have a significant impact on the organization. Must develop, coach, and lead the branch team to meet key performance indicators including member satisfaction, efficiency and staffing retention and utilization. Expected to continuously seek out opportunities to drive operational improvement and productivity, and close performance gaps while meeting established goals. Acts as a champion for change within the branch, offering new ideas and continuously developing knowledge and processes to improve the member experience and team member engagement. Will establish and maintain effective and professional business relations with internal and external stakeholders. Responsible for analyzing and preparing data to measure and report performance.

Requirements

  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
  • One to three years Supervisory/Management experience
  • Advanced sales and lending experience
  • Existing deposit(s) (savings, money market, checking, certificate of deposits); loan(s) (business, consumer, mortgage); and ancillary loan product(s) (guaranteed asset protection, mechanical breakdown, and debt cancellation) knowledge and experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of success meeting and/or exceeding established sales goals
  • Outstanding member focus and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to create and develop a high performing team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to speak publicly and networking for new business opportunities
  • Cash handling experience
  • A high school degree or equivalent
  • A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required.
  • Strong “People” skills, comfortable multi-tasking, ability to work independently AND as a member of a team, capable in a relationship focused sales environment.

  • Working knowledge of Episys/Symitar Core System, a plus
