About The Position
AKHIRE is recruiting for a Branch Manager position in Fairbanks, AK. This is a permanent, full-time role with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The position offers a salary range of $75,000 - $95,000 per year, plus bonuses, and a full benefits package.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Two to five years of experience in an industrial retail, inside sales, customer service and/or inventory control related position.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
Nice To Haves
- Higher education degree preferred
- Knowledge of welding industry preferred
Responsibilities
- Manages and oversees the branch inventory, daily inventory cycle counts and maintains showroom and warehouse appearance.
- Responsible for managing P&L goals and objectives for the branch location.
- Assists outside salespersons in quoting and customer follow ups.
- Maintains and upgrades selling skills and technical/product knowledge for the branch.
- Provides backup support to sales representatives with order entry and customer inquiries.
- Oversees reoccurring orders process for the branch on a daily basis.
- Posts daily cash and charge orders for all tickets.
- Manages daily reconciliation of cash and bank deposits.
- Manages associate training.
- Provides leadership and management direction to associates with day-to-day operations of the retail store including compliance, retail sales, warehousing and distribution.
- Manages work hours and approves overtime in the timekeeping system. Responsible for maintaining hours within the established budget.
- Responsible for managing truck distribution, maintenance, and DOT Compliance.
