About The Position

Guadalupe Credit Union is looking for a Branch Manager to join their team in Taos, NM. This is a full-time, on-site position. The Branch Manager will lead and support branch staff in daily operations, ensuring employees have the necessary skills and knowledge for their roles and for advancement. This role involves working with staff to identify solutions, think creatively, and approach situations from different perspectives. Key responsibilities include overseeing hiring, training, scheduling, and monitoring branch performance, while providing ongoing guidance and direction to maintain consistent service and operational standards.

Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years in a management or leadership role required.
Financial institution experience preferred.
Associate degree, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing program, or specialized training or apprenticeship program.
A computer is required to complete the skills assessment.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide professional, timely, and accurate service to all members and employees.
Maintain a cohesive, highly trained, and motivated staff to provide financially empowering service.
Effectively coach staff to positive outcomes.
Conduct timely performance reviews.
Review monthly production of the branch to ensure appropriate results are attained.
Engage with staff in all areas of the branch to be able to provide constructive feedback on their performance.
Ensure all duties for the branch are being completed properly and timely.
Delegate and set productivity goals for staff that ensure the delivery of internal or external service that provides financial empowerment and balances the best interests of the credit union and the membership.
Hold staff accountable to achieve these goals through effective coaching.
