About The Position

The Branch Manager is responsible for leading the branch team to deliver sales growth, exceptional customer service, and operational excellence. This role requires balancing sales leadership, showroom support, account management, and operational oversight. The Branch Manager is accountable for creating a disciplined, motivated, and customer-focused branch environment while ensuring alignment with company initiatives. We are looking for a Branch Manager to lead sales, showroom, and operations at our Omaha, NE location. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key customer accounts, and ensuring an exceptional showroom and branch experience. The Branch Manager will coach and develop the sales team, oversee day-to-day branch operations, and serve as the main point of contact for customers and regional leadership.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in sales and/or operations, preferably in distribution, construction supply, or related industry.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills; disciplined in task execution and accountability.
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage both showroom and outside customer relationships.
  • Customer-first mindset with a track record of delivering sales results.
  • Ability to balance multiple responsibilities: sales leadership, showroom management, account management, and operations oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach OSRs, Account Managers, and Design Consultants to achieve sales goals.
  • Manage showroom traffic, customer consultations, and account relationships.
  • Partner with the Operations Manager to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant branch operations.
  • Drive new business development while supporting existing key accounts.
  • Communicate company initiatives, provide weekly updates, and ensure consistent execution.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones with OSRs, Account Managers, and Design Consultants to support development and drive performance.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and accountability to ensure sales targets are achieved.
  • Partner with the Regional VP as needed on performance management.
  • Oversee the day-to-day showroom experience to ensure customers receive exceptional service.
  • Assist with showroom traffic, sales consultations, and closing opportunities.
  • Support the team in finding materials, pricing, and product solutions to close sales.
  • Ensure company updates, promotions, and initiatives are communicated and executed in the showroom.
  • Support training and development of showroom staff and assist with association and event planning.
  • Provide oversight and daily leadership to the operations team, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Partner with the Operations Manager to maintain compliance with safety standards and branch procedures.
  • Support warehouse operations as needed to ensure smooth customer and sales support.
  • Actively manage key accounts, building strong relationships with contractors, fabricators, and design partners.
  • Conduct outside visits to drive sales growth and maintain strong customer connections.
  • Track opportunities, follow up on leads, and ensure CRM is updated to reflect pipeline activity.
  • Act as the branch point of contact for corporate and regional updates, ensuring timely and consistent communication.
  • Lead weekly branch huddles to reinforce priorities, celebrate wins, and drive accountability.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
