About The Position

Serves as senior leader of Branch management in ensuring achievement of goals related to customer acquisition, customer sales, and service. Ensures the Branch adheres to the Bank’s operating policies and procedures as well as legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of retail banking experience where adherence to bank operating policies and regulatory compliance required.
  • Experience that includes consultative selling, conducting sales presentations, and business development outreach calls.
  • Leadership experience preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Expert knowledge of bank products, branch operations and banking regulations.
  • Demonstrated success in applying consultative selling techniques.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in managing a team to achieve performance goals.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator License

Responsibilities

  • Provides operational oversight of the Branch, which includes development & communication of Branch goals and objectives, resource planning, budget management, and talent development (setting of individual goals, coaching performance, conducting performance reviews, etc.).
  • Manages the Personal Bankers within the assigned branch. Conducts training and provides guidance to Personal Bankers.
  • Applies consultative selling practices to understand, identify, and meet customer needs. Engages Branch teammates in adopting a similar sales approach in order to enhance and deepen the customer relationship.
  • Accountable for meeting Branch performance goals associated with, but not limited to, customer service, sales, teammate satisfaction and turnover management. Ensures the Branch is appropriately staffed and teammates are trained in a manner that delivers an outstanding customer experience.
  • Develops and implements branch process/procedural improvements and policies to ensure an efficient operating environment that incorporates appropriate controls in mitigating risk to the Bank.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable banking regulations/laws, including BSA/AML & suspicious activity monitoring and reporting.
  • Provides personalized, in-person education in digital banking solutions.
