The Branch General Manager (BGM) is a key member of the leadership team responsible for managing the daily operations of the Branch. This role involves coaching and training associates, delegating tasks, managing performance, and ensuring adequate department coverage. The BGM is responsible for building and supporting a branch culture aligned with Lowe’s mission and behaviors, fostering employee engagement and inspiration. This leader also maintains a strategic view of branch talent needs, focusing on recruiting and developing talent. The Branch General Manager drives the execution of operations strategies, analyzes data to inform branch-specific strategies, supports customer service, proactively addresses branch needs, and acts as a Lowe’s brand ambassador in the community. This is a bench role, requiring relocation throughout the North Division (IL, MI, OH, IN, VA, MD, PA, MA).
