About The Position
Continental Carbonic Products is one of the largest distributors of dry ice in the US and is experiencing aggressive growth. This position offers local routes, allowing drivers to be home daily, with significant earning potential and excellent benefits. Continental Carbonic Products, Inc. specializes in the manufacture and distribution of dry ice and liquid carbon dioxide, maintaining a reliable network of 40 dry ice distribution facilities. The company has implemented several measures to protect employees during Covid-19, including issuing face coverings and shields, ensuring workstations are 6 feet apart, taking employee temperatures, providing hand sanitizer, and staggering breaks and start times.
Requirements
- CDL Class A and current DOT medical card.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a professional CDL Class A driver or 6 months’ experience with certification from an accredited driving school.
- Prior experience driving a manual 10-speed transmission.
- No more than 1 traffic violation in the last 2 years.
- No at-fault accidents in the last 2 years.
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years (1 per lifetime).
Responsibilities
- Drive locally and be home daily.
- Operate a CDL Class A vehicle.
- Pass a road test.
- Pass DOT physical, DOT drug test, and criminal background check.
