Branch Driver/Warehouseperson
About The Position
This client-facing role requires an individual who understands the importance of customer service and the foundation of ACT (Acknowledge, Create, Thank). The Branch Driver/Warehouseperson will become a product knowledge expert, understanding all about what Gentek sells and how to support their customers. Responsibilities include driving and deliveries, where the individual will safely load and unload product using appropriate equipment, know their products and route, and greet and assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner. When not on the road, the individual will be a valued member of the warehouse team, performing tasks related to product movement, warehouse organization and cleanliness, and customer service. This includes picking orders, preparing them for delivery, assisting with loading and unloading delivery trucks, picking orders for immediate pick-up, ensuring order accuracy against paperwork, and moving incoming product to designated locations. Customer service in the warehouse involves greeting customers and serving them immediately or indicating they will be helped as quickly as possible.
Requirements
- Valid DZ license
- High school education required
- Able to read and write word and letter/number sequences
- Attentive and detail-oriented
- Must be able to safely lift 50lbs
- Must be able to operate material handling equipment

Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload product using the appropriate equipment
- Know our products and your route
- Know our customers. Greet and assist them in a friendly and efficient manner
- Pick orders and prepare them in staging areas for delivery
- Assist with loading and unloading of delivery trucks
- Pick orders for immediate pick-up
- Ensure accuracy of order against paperwork
- Move incoming product to the designated location in the branch
- Greet customers entering the warehouse by addressing them verbally
- Serve them immediately or indicate that they will be helped as quickly as we can manage
