About The Position

The Branch Director is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Peach Springs Branch, ensuring a safe and positive environment for youth development. This role involves managing staff, implementing programs, and maintaining community relationships. The director must be adaptable, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be proficient in technology. A commitment to the organization's values of accountability, inclusivity, integrity, respect, and safety is essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar youth development organization.
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to multitask and readily adapt to Club’s changing needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and cooperative working skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite and comfortable adapting to new technology.
  • Ability to earn and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Maintains a valid driver’s license and meets eligibility requirements to drive Club vehicles.
  • Flawless ethics and integrity.
  • Safety oriented mindset.
  • Must maintain energy and be attentive for 8 hours or more a day.
  • Must be able to work in an office environment with frequent hours at a computer.
  • Must be able to regularly deal with normal levels of stress.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move 35 pounds in a safe and sound manner.
  • Must be able to regularly sit, stand, walk, and occasionally run, jump, squat, kneel and twist.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Peach Springs Branch.
  • Manage and supervise branch staff.
  • Implement and manage youth development programs.
  • Ensure a safe and positive environment for all members.
  • Maintain community relationships and partnerships.
  • Manage branch budget and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Adapt to the changing needs of the Club.
  • Provide direct programming for youth and/or teen members as needed.
  • Drive Club vehicles, including a 15-passenger minibus, as required.
