About The Position

This position is responsible for achieving sales goals relative to the sale of AAA Memberships and associated products (such as Medical Rider, Associate Memberships, up-grades to Plus/Premium memberships, RV and Motorcycle Riders, etc.), and for transferring the Membership of members of other AAA Clubs to ACG when appropriate to do so. This position will achieve sales goals by initiating a number of marketing strategies and primarily outside sales tactics including but not limited to, field sales, field booth/table at department stores, flea markets, malls, fairs, festivals and large show events, telephone sales, worksite employee sales and employer presentations, community events, etc. at locations away from ACG’ places of business. Position is accountable for supporting its own field sales through administrative duties, meetings and training as needed.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or the equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months successful sales experience
  • Ability to qualify for sales licenses if required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication including presentation skills
  • Must be goal oriented, self-directed with strong time management and follow-through skills.
  • Must have demonstrated sales and marketing ability
  • Knowledge of PC applications that includes word processing and spreadsheets

Nice To Haves

  • Previous outside sales experience
  • MS Office applications knowledge
