About The Position

The Branch Banking Market Leader provides leadership to multiple branch teams and is responsible for driving growth, developing talent, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality customer experience. This role partners closely with branch leaders and business lines to align strategy, execute market initiatives, and support overall organizational goals. This is an opportunity for a leader who enjoys coaching teams, building community connections, developing business opportunities, and creating an exceptional banking experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in retail banking or financial services strongly preferred
  • Experience in branch leadership, consumer lending, business development, and market management
  • Experience with budgeting and financial oversight
  • Understanding of risk management and regulatory expectations
  • Demonstrated success developing teams and achieving sales goals
  • Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and relationship-building skills

  • Address challenges proactively and support solutions that strengthen relationships.
  • Lead business development efforts across the assigned market area.
  • Coach and develop branch teams in sales effectiveness and relationship building.
  • Establish measurable goals and strategies to support market growth.
  • Conduct joint business development and customer calls with branch teams and business partners.
  • Identify opportunities to attract, retain, and deepen customer relationships.
  • Actively participate in sales, marketing, and growth initiatives.
  • Develop and manage regional business plans and budgets aligned with strategic goals.
  • Monitor market performance and adjust plans based on trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with branch leaders on branch operations, staffing, and expense management.
  • Support overall market performance and accountability for results.
  • Represent Kish throughout the communities we serve.
  • Participate in networking groups, chambers, nonprofit activities, and community events.
  • Build and maintain strong market awareness and community connections.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to support strategy development.
  • Promote safe, sound, and compliant banking practices.
  • Ensure adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations.
  • Maintain awareness of compliance, BSA, security, and operational requirements.
  • Support audit readiness and protect customer confidentiality.
  • Coach, develop, and support branch leadership teams.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across business lines.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, coaching discussions, and performance conversations.
  • Encourage growth, accountability, and professional development.
