About The Position

BlueLinx, a leading wholesale distributor of building and industrial products, plays a vital role in supporting our branch operations! We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Branch Admin II to lead administrative tasks, support sales efforts, and ensure seamless daily operations.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of related experience preferred
  • Strong planning, organization, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and telephone skills to evaluate issues and recommend solutions
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting transactions in a distribution setting
  • Experience in inventory control, stock handling, and building products

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead administrative staff to maintain accuracy and efficiency in branch operations
  • Support sales efforts by assisting the branch sales team and handling customer interactions
  • Process claims and ensure proper documentation and resolution
  • Review and manage daily stock receiving and invoicing reports
  • Oversee physical inventories and assist with cycle count management
  • Handle petty cash transactions, including reconciliation
  • Coordinate with warehouse supervisors to manage inbound/outbound shipments and customer service issues
