About The Position

The Branch Accounting Business Analyst supports strategic initiatives and high-level operational projects within the Branch Accounting Support department. This role focuses on improving processes, supporting ERP system functionality, analyzing data, and ensuring effective reporting and performance measurement across teams. The analyst serves as a key liaison between accounting, operations, and technology stakeholders, providing insight-driven recommendations that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of business analysis, accounting operations, or process improvement experience
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to draw actionable insights from complex data
  • Demonstrated experience influencing and collaborating with key stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under varying degrees of pressure
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation quality
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly
  • Resourceful and adaptable with a proactive, self-starter mindset
  • ERP systems (Agility preferred)
  • ServiceNow, OnBase, Billtrust, Five9, Confluence, WalkMe
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Process mapping and workflow design
  • SQL and CQ reporting knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support, train, and enhance ERP system processes and functionality
  • Streamline support structures by analyzing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and reports for the Branch Support Manager and leadership
  • Serve as a primary accounting contact during company-led acquisitions, ensuring accurate data transition and process alignment
  • Partner with key stakeholders to support world-class customer and associate experiences
  • Gather and analyze data to evaluate existing processes and recommend changes for efficiency
  • Develop clear and user-friendly process documentation, flowcharts, and training materials
  • Test and validate business processes, reporting discrepancies or areas for enhancement
  • Write structured business requirements and partner with IT and system administrators for deployment
  • Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate performance trends
  • Perform data discovery and analysis in systems such as ServiceNow, Agility, Five9, WalkMe, and Billtrust
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improved functionality and automation across incident management tools
  • Collaborate with department supervisors to standardize responses and documentation for common inquiries
  • Support project management efforts through planning, coordination, and progress tracking
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
