About The Position
Reading Truck is seeking Machine Operators to join their team. This role involves fabricating commercial and fleet vehicles in a high-volume, quality-focused shop. The company is a leading manufacturer, distributor, and fleet sales expert of premium truck bodies with commercial upfit for vocational markets nationwide, emphasizing a pioneering attitude and commitment to innovation.
Requirements
- Experience with Brake press, Plasma, or Laser
- Must be able to perform Drilling, tapping, and sanding
- Must be willing to wear company provided, require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Responsibilities
- Perform machine shop operations
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to leadership
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety precautions
- Perform Drilling, tapping, and sanding
- Operate a Brake Press, Plasma Table, or Laser
- Perform Quality inspections of machined products
- Complete and maintain paperwork
- Wear company provided, required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
