About The Position
Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Brake Press Machine Operator for their production team. This role is crucial for ensuring parts are folded to the correct angles and sizes. The operator will be responsible for conducting changeovers, visually inspecting parts against specifications for defects, installing and adjusting dies during tooling changes, entering production quantities into the computer system, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. The position also involves assisting in other departments as needed.
Requirements
- Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
- Ability to work independently and with others
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read a tape measure and protractor
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Responsibilities
- Conducts changeovers to different angles and sizes to ensure parts are folded in the correct angles.
- Checks and visually inspects produced parts against specifications to ensure a defect-free product.
- Installs dies during tooling change and adjusts to specifications.
- Enters production quantities for each order into the computer system.
- Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Assists in other departments as needed.
