About The Position
We are seeking skilled CNC Brake Press/ Laser Operators for a full-time position at a local metal fabrication facility. This role involves bending, forming, cutting, and shaping various metals using CNC machinery. Candidates must have 3+ years of proven experience in this field. A resume is required for application. This position offers 1st and 2nd shifts with a pay rate of $25 - $27 per hour, based on previous experience. The job also requires the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, and willingness to work overtime if needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience in CNC Brake Press/ Laser Operation.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and Background.
- Must be willing to work overtime if needed.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC and hydraulic press brake machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Calculate and adjust bend allowances, angles, and dimensions as needed.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, angle gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Make machine adjustments to maintain required tolerances and part quality.
