The success of athletic programs significantly impacts the community's perception of the school system, and this position requires managing public exposure and community/parent pressure while prioritizing good sportsmanship and mental health. The role demands a significant time commitment, including evenings and weekends, and requires managing the physical risks of the sport through safety protocols and handling disciplinary or administrative challenges with fairness and discretion.
