About The Position

Kelloggsville High School is seeking a Boys JV Soccer Coach. The coach will be responsible for instructing and leading student athletes in the fundamental skills, strategies, and physical training necessary for individual and team success. This role requires knowledge of coaching strategies, MHSAA rules, and motivational techniques, serving as a positive role model for student athletes. The coach must be able to communicate effectively, build positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the public within a diverse community, and foster an environment that promotes cultural competence and equitable treatment.

Requirements

Knowledge of coaching strategies and methods.
Knowledge of MHSAA rules and standards.
Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely.
Ability to relate and work effectively with parents, staff, students, and the public in a multicultural and multiracial community.
Knowledge and awareness of own cultural identity and how this influences behavior, and desire to learn about the cultural identity of others.

Coaching experience preferred.
