Boys Basketball JV2 Head Coach
About The Position
The JV2 Head Basketball Coach directs all aspects of the junior varsity program while aligning with the varsity team’s standards and overall athletic department goals. Collaboration is a fundamental key to a successful program. The JV2 Head coach will collaborate with the varsity coach on daily practices, teaching fundamentals, managing game-day strategy, and evaluating student-athletes to prepare them for varsity competition. In addition to skill development, the coach fosters team discipline, academic accountability, and character, while handling parent communication, player safety, policy enforcement, and program logistics.
Requirements
- High school coaching experience preferred
- Thorough knowledge of the sport
- Successfully pass drug screen
- Successfully obtain fingerprint clearance
- Possess or ability to obtain First Aid Card
- Possess or ability to obtain OSAA Coaching Certificate
