About The Position

This is a 1099 independent contractor position for a box truck owner-operator. Drivers run dry freight on shorter hauls in surrounding states, with a mix of out-and-back loads and some overnight trips. Home time may include weekends, or drivers may choose to stay out longer. Some loads are close to home, and the company is working to add more dedicated accounts. A dedicated dispatch/freight manager and lease-on options are available. Requirements

Own or have access to a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate.
Have a pallet jack.
Have a current DOT medical card.
Have a DOT/MC number, or use an available lease-on option.
Meet customer requirements of no DUI/DWI convictions within the past seven years and a decent background.

Responsibilities
