About The Position
This role is for a Box Truck Driver who will report to the Distribution Manager and be a team member of the shipping/receiving areas. The driver will also operate a forklift, serve as a backup for production colleagues, and be responsible for the upkeep of the box truck.
Requirements
- Excellent attendance
- Excellent driving record
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to push/pull 50 lbs
Responsibilities
- Drive the truck to make deliveries on time.
- Perform documented daily truck inspections and report any concerns.
- Transport items between all BTS facilities and Suppliers.
- Safely and securely load products on and off the truck.
- Assist shipping/receiving and or production when not performing specific box truck activities.
- Complete daily the vehicle inspection book.
- Escalate issues to appropriate resources.
- Communicate daily the schedule of runs.
- Upkeep the interior/exterior of the box truck.
- Forklift operator.
- Production colleague back-up.
