About The Position

California Sierra Express is hiring an experienced 26' Box Truck Driver for our Compton operation. This is a full-time position performing local pickups, deliveries, and freight recoveries throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Drivers operate 26-foot liftgate box trucks and handle time-sensitive airfreight shipments for domestic and international freight forwarders. Routes typically require 8–10 hours, depending on freight volume, traffic, and operational needs.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle operated
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience operating a 26' box truck
• Experience using a liftgate preferred
• Safe driving record
• Ability to safely load and unload freight
• Dependable attendance
• Ability to work the required Monday–Friday schedule
• Ability to meet company, insurance, TSA, background-screening, and applicable drug-testing requirements

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26' liftgate box truck on assigned local routes
• Pick up and deliver time-sensitive airfreight shipments
• Safely load, unload, and secure freight
• Use liftgate and material-handling equipment as required
• Complete vehicle inspections, manifests, and required driver documentation
• Provide professional service at customer locations
• Follow company safety, DOT, TSA, and OSHA requirements
