About The Position

As a box truck driver, your primary responsibility is to safely and responsibly operate the vehicle while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. You will be required to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good condition. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean work environment, loading and unloading customer belongings, including furniture, boxes, and other items, using proper techniques and equipment. It is important to ensure that items are properly secured during transport to prevent damage. Interacting professionally with customers, addressing their needs and concerns, and effectively communicating with dispatchers, other team members, and customers are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to operate a box truck
• Knowledge of traffic laws
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections
• Physical ability to load and unload items
• Customer service skills
• Communication skills
