About The Position

HandCraft Services is seeking a dedicated Box Truck Driver for a dedicated route in Richmond, VA. This position offers a consistent schedule of Wednesday through Sunday with a 7:30 AM start, and drivers are home daily. The role involves loading linen carts onto trucks, delivering products to customers in a timely manner, maintaining a clean and organized storage area, and ensuring customers have adequate linen supplies. A key responsibility is to conduct and document full customer inventories as directed by the Service Manager. Safety is paramount, and the driver must always operate within legal speed limits and in a safe manner.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience driving a box truck
Valid driver's license and a valid driver’s license, meets all DOT requirements
Physically able to perform the duties of this position.
Must have a minimum +2 and supply a copy of their Virginia driving record upon interview.
Will be able to push the linen carts which weight up to 450 pounds and lift 30 pounds overhead.

Responsibilities

Load linen carts onto trucks.
Deliver the product to customers in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean and organized storage area, and ensure the customer has enough linen for daily needs.
Ensure a full inventory of each customer is completed, documented, and maintained on a regular basis at the direction of the Service Manager.
Operate within the legal speed limits and in a safe fashion at all times.
