We are looking for a Box Truck Driver to join our WT Burnett – West team in Phoenix, Arizona! The Box Truck Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers using box trucks within the state of Arizona. This role is an integral part of the shipping team and requires active participation in loading, unloading, staging, and supporting daily shipping and warehouse operations. This position is not limited to driving responsibilities and requires a hands-on, team-oriented approach to meet operational and customer needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience of box truck or pup truck operations
  • Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate/Card
  • Clean MVR report for the last 3 years
  • Ability and willingness to operate box trucks as assigned
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50–85 pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and twist throughout the shift
  • Ability to climb in and out of trucks and trailers multiple times per day
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided as applicable)
  • Ability to maintain a consistent state of alertness and work safely at all times

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Actively load and unload cargo, ensuring the safety, accuracy, and integrity of all goods.
  • Work alongside the shipping team to support daily warehouse and shipping operations; drivers are expected to remain engaged on-site and assist when not actively driving.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, refuel vehicles, maintain cleanliness, and promptly report any mechanical or safety issues to maintenance or supervision.
  • Immediately report accidents, incidents, delays, or unsafe conditions to the Logistics Supervisor or dispatcher.
  • Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery documentation, and cargo records in compliance with DOT and ELD requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to meet customer expectations and operational schedules.
  • Maintain professionalism and positive communication during all internal and customer interactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.
