To support our continued growth, VMG is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to join our team in Berryville, VA. This role is responsible for safely transporting HVAC, plumbing, and construction materials from our Berryville facility to project sites throughout the DMV and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, organized, and comfortable operating a 26-foot box truck. The typical schedule is 6:00 AM–3:00 PM; however, start times may vary based on operational and delivery needs. Flexibility is essential.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of delivery or professional driving experience
  • Experience safely operating a 26-foot box truck
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • DOT medical certification or willingness to obtain one
  • Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Strong commitment to safety and proper material handling
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Flexibility to accommodate changing start times and delivery schedules
  • Ability to travel throughout the DMV and surrounding areas

Nice To Haves

  • CDL preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles, including 26-foot box trucks
  • Transport HVAC, plumbing, and construction materials to designated project sites
  • Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely service
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, field teams, and office personnel
  • Maintain accurate delivery, mileage, and vehicle records
  • Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
  • Properly secure cargo to prevent shifting or damage during transport
  • Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Report vehicle maintenance needs, safety concerns, or delivery issues promptly
  • Follow all DOT requirements, traffic laws, and company safety procedures
